Set among the vineyards of Pokolbin, Elsie and Tom’s 120-guest wedding was
designed to feel completely at home within its Hunter Valley setting.
Working with the Mediterranean-inspired character of Iron Gate Estate, we
created a refined wedding design that complemented the architecture,
vineyard landscape and outdoor setting.
As the first wedding held at the estate, every element required planning
from the ground up. We coordinated all required furniture and event hire
for the celebration and developed two reception layouts, one for the
outdoor setting and another for the marquee held on standby in case of bad
weather.
The ceremony was held in the gardens of Iron Gate Villa before guests moved
to the winery for cocktail hour, followed by a seated, feasting-style
dinner at long tables lit by fairy lights. The beautiful food and warm,
attentive service from the Iron Gate Estate team were an important part of
the experience.
The Bluebird Collective provided creative direction, styling and on-the-day
coordination, bringing each part of the celebration together to create a
day that felt elegant, considered and connected to its setting.
